History

How it all began ...

Michel Neault and his wife, Hélène Aubin, founded H.M. Métal Inc. in 1990. The company had metal product manufacturing, machining, welding and mechanical installation experience. Mr. Neault has worked several years for a very well known multinational in the welding industry. Wanting to go back to his native land, Mr. Neault and his wife decided to start their own business in Ste-Sophie de Lévrard. Despite very humble beginnings with only 3 employees, the company surprised and pleased their clients with the competence of its work force and superior quality of the accomplished task.

Acting locally at the beginning, the company quickly moved on to serving regional clients once word got out about its expertise. International companies, have even called on H.M. Métal Inc. with great results. After only a few years in business, H.M. Métal was making major headway in the metal fabrication market.

In the fall of 1999, at ''Le Banquet des Seigneurs''  a ceremony honouring businesses in the Nicolet and Bécancour municipalities, H.M. Métal was named best SME in the entrepreneurship category.

 

In the last few years,

HM Metal Enterprises Inc. grew steadily their business and intends to continue this momentum in the coming years. Moreover, major investments were made on a few occasions since the beginning of this new millennium. In terms of jobs, the number of employees have taken this rise and should continue to grow in the future. In this chapter, Les Entreprises HM Metal are proud to support the local workforce even if sometimes it could mean more recruitment effort, patience and training the workforce.

Today,

HM Metal has about 45 employees in its organization and has a workshop of 31,000 sq. ft. located in Ste-Sophie Lévrard and another one nearly 11,000 sq. ft. located in the ''Bécancour industrial park''.   

The drive and enthusiasm of Les Entreprises H.M. Métal’s entire team can guarantee a successful future for the company. Our excellent reputation will continue to spread throughout the region and we strongly believe that our potential and our desire to push ourselves can lead us to another level, beyond all expectations.
